  7. Description:

  10. The first function of this program is to search for files containing 
  11. icons (ICO, EXE, DLL, BMP). Then it is possible to either copy any 
  12. icon found to the clipboard or to save it as a file (ICO or BMP). 
  13. While one can manually search for icons by individually opening files, 
  14. I was just to lazy. So I created this program to conduct the search 
  15. and display the icons for me. 
  16. The second function is manipulations with desktop wallpaper. You can 
  17. use any found icon or bmp-file as wallpaper. Only one click and you 
  18. can see the result on the screen. You can set centered or tiled 
  19. wallpaper. This function reminds mosaic game.

  21. I plan even more to strengthen opportunities of this program. And in 
  22. following versions of IconTOY you will see the following novelties:
  23. -Work with JPEG-files;
  24. -Opportunity to change Desktop shortcuts from IconTOY;
  25. -More graphic effects for Desktop wallpaper.
  26. To the registered users the following version of the IconTOY will be 
  27. given free-of-charge.

  33. How to start searching?
  34.  
  35.    1. Select file extension: EXE or DLL or ICO  or BMP;
  36.    2. Select drive for serch: C:\ or any other;
  37.    3. Click on "Find" button in bottom side of iconTOY window.

  39.    For new search repeat all operations - and new icons will 
  40.    added in list.

  44.    1. Click on "Clear" button in bottom side of iconTOY window.

  49.    2. Choose "center tool" in right side of iconTOY window.

  88. IconTOY 2 is distributed as Shareware. This is not Freeware or 
  89. Public Domain. You may use the shareware version for 30 days.
  90. If after 30 days you would like to continue using it, then You 
  91. should purchase a license. After you pay, you receive Registration
  92. Name and Registration key from the author to tell IconTOY 2 that
  93. you have paid the shareware fee.

  97. Paying for IconTOY 2 is fairly simple. Open the Register program, that
  98. accompanies IconTOY 2, by starting up the file REGISTER.EXE. Enter your 
  99. name, your email address, and the number of single user licenses you
  100. desire for each program you wish to purchase. Save or Copy or Print
  101. the data from the Register program and send the data and payment
  102. to Kagi Shareware. For further information open the REGISTER.HLP file.

  112. The fee for registered version of IconTOY 2 is:

  118. Installation:

  120. Create a new directory (e.g. \icontoy) and unzip the TOY2.ZIP
  121. file to it. You can also unzip the file to any existing
  122. directories on your system if you wish.
  123. The program does not place any of parts in the Windows system 
  124. directories.

  127. Starting:

  129. Start TOY2.EXE from Windows environment (by double click in 
  130. Explorer for example).

  134. IconTOY 2 may be distributed freely in its original unmodified and
  135. unregistered form. The distribution have to include all files of its
  136. original distribution.

  186. This is a new shell for Windows95. "Bonjour" hides the standard desktop 
  187. of Win95. In the "Bonjour" workspace, you can place any number of buttons 
  188. or pictures. These objects can have any form or dimensions. All objects can 
  189. run external programs or internal shell commands. The number of forms 
  190. (screens) can range from 1 to 999. Any screen object can be set to switch 
  191. from one form to another. Using "Bonjour", you can build any interface for 
  192. your computer. All settings and pictures are stored in a database file. 
  193. You can even make more than one database and use objects with links to go 
  194. from one database to another!

  205. double-clicking. I use "Melody" to listen to music both from the hard drive 
  206. and CDs. The program allows one to play all WAV files from one catalogue and 
  207. to compose lists of songs from different catalogs.
